Take a step back in time and vacation in one of our antique or log home vacation rentals. Our log homes, The Homestead and The Barnhouse, were dismantled log by log, beam by beam, moved to their present sites and lovingly restored. Although fitted with modern amenities, one can still sense the grand sweep of history they have witnessed and share the wonder of being part of it. Great places for meditation. Or for that matter, weddings, honeymoons, reunions, retreats or just relaxing, pleasurable escapes. Each house has a distinct character, with lovely views of valleys and ridges. Each is fully furnished. There is a private tennis court and swimming pool. With mountains and valleys and two great rivers, the Potomac and the Cacapon, providing a dramatic backdrop, there is so much to do, so much to experience: Golfing, fishing, hiking, biking, horseback riding, canoeing, tennis and antiquing. Then there are the fabled mineral baths, which have long drawn health and pleasure seekers to their rejuvenating waters.
